The Method RC MTD1401 Velociter Belted Pre-Mounted Rear Tires are designed for high-powered 1/7 scale on-road RC vehicles, providing a stable and consistent platform for speed runs and high-performance bashing.

The Velociter tires feature hand-laid internal belts that dramatically reduce tire ballooning at high RPM. Less expansion helps reduce the gyroscopic effect created by large tires at speed, reducing load on steering servos, axles, suspension components, and hub bearings.

These tires come factory glued to black Method RC Hive wheels with removable 17mm hexes, ready to install on compatible vehicles.

Application / Compatibility

Designed FOR compatible 1/7 on-road vehicles using 17mm hexes, including select:

• ARRMA Limitless
• ARRMA Infraction 6S
• ARRMA Felony 6S

Fitment varies significantly between these vehicles. Read the vehicle-specific notes below before purchasing.

ARRMA Limitless

Direct rear fit. No trimming or regearing required.

The wider 54.1mm rear tire provides approximately 10mm of additional width compared with the standard-width Velociter, increasing rear traction bias and giving the vehicle a wider rear stance.

ARRMA Infraction

These can be used on the rear of the Infraction, but the rear fender flares must be trimmed to provide clearance for the wider tires.

No regearing is required, as the tire diameter matches the appropriate stock rear diameter.

⚠️ ARRMA FELONY – IMPORTANT

MTD1401 IS NOT THE DIRECT-REPLACEMENT FELONY REAR TIRE.

The MTD1401 rear tire has a 100mm / 3.94" diameter, which is approximately the same diameter as the Felony front tire.

Using MTD1401 on the rear of a Felony therefore requires attention to the vehicle's front/rear gearing to maintain the proper drivetrain ratio.

For a direct replacement matching the larger factory-style Felony rear diameter, Method RC offers MTD1402, which measures approximately 106mm / 4.21".
