Designed for 1/8 scale off-road and on-road vehicles as well as 1/10 scale 4WD short course trucks up to 9 lbs, this combo combines Castle's Cobra 8 ESC technology with the smooth, precise power delivery of the 1512-1800Kv sensored brushless motor.

⚠️ Important Battery Voltage Information

The Cobra 8 ESC itself is capable of up to 6S LiPo; however, when used with the included 1512-1800Kv motor, this combo is limited to a MAXIMUM of 4S LiPo.

DO NOT operate the included 1512-1800Kv motor on 6S.

The included motor is designed for 3S–4S LiPo operation.

⚠️ Battery Connector – Soldering Required

A battery connector is NOT included or pre-installed on the ESC.

The Cobra 8 is supplied with battery leads that require the installation of your preferred compatible high-current battery connector.

SOLDERING IS REQUIRED BEFORE USE.

Castle specifies a high-current connector rated for 120 amps or higher, such as Castle 6.5mm Bullet, 8.0mm Bullet, or 6.5mm Polarized connectors.
