Relive the glory days with the long awaited re-released and updated version of the 1991 Top-Force, a shaft-driven 4WD Off-Road Buggy made for racing. Driver feedback from actual racing events are incorporated into this kit, with features such as the low wedge-shaped body, large rear wing with built-in flaps, and the polycarbonate underbody cowling. The 2017 and the 2024 edition kits include square spike tires that give the Top-Force excellent traction on any surface. With front and rear sealed gearboxes placed between 2mm thick fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) for durability, this style has become a standard in RC touring cars and demonstrates just how revolutionary the Top-Force was.
The uncomplicated and practical 2mm thick FRP double-deck frame will have components mounted on the lower deck for a low center of gravity. The independent four-wheel double wishbone suspension system features CVA dampers that have adjustable upper arms and allow camber angle customization. This kit also incorporates a three-piece steering tie-rod for precision when turning.
Both front and rear gearboxes are sealed and contain precision differential balls, which are teamed with universal shafts for minimal power loss. These differential balls give a limited-slip differential effect, and provide superior cornering abilities. The rigid propeller shaft ensures that power from the rear-mounted motor transmits smoothly to the wheels.
The body included with the kit is clear, uncut, and unpainted, allowing for the ultimate personal touch and customization. The lightweight and durable polycarbonate body was designed with aerodynamics in mind, and maintain the original retro look that the 1991 Top-Force had to offer. Many Off-Road Buggies were inspired by this style, and although the final look of the product is ultimately up to you, there is an updated 2017 Top-Force decal sheet that you can use to add those final vintage touches.
