GRP GT - TO4 Slick Belted Pre-Mounted 1/8 Buggy Tires (Black) (2) w/FLEX Whee XM2

GRP GT TO4 Slick belted tires, pre-mounted on black 1/8 buggy FLEX wheels with a 17mm hex. These are on-road tires from the GRP GT line: they turn a 1/8 buggy into a car for asphalt, concrete or pavement, and are made for the GT class. They are not for dirt.

They are belted: an internal belt keeps the tire from ballooning at high speed, so the contact patch and handling stay consistent. The TO4 Slick is a full slick, made for clean, high-grip asphalt or a prepared track.

This set uses the XM2 compound, a soft-to-medium compound, a good all-round choice for mild temperatures and medium grip.

GRP compound guide, from softest to hardest: XB1 (most grip, for cold or low-grip surfaces), XB2, XM2, XM5 and XM7 (for hot, high-grip asphalt and the longest life). Softer compounds grip more but wear faster; harder compounds last longer when the surface is hot and grippy.
