Portal Axle Gearing Options

• Installing portal axles adds additional gear reduction for ultimate crawling speed and torque.
• The portal axle kit includes optional gear sets to change the final drive rations for more speed if desired.

When portal axles are used with the single speed transmission, the additional gear reduction results in very slow crawling speed that may not be desirable for trail running. Install the red gear set (NEW part number 9776A) in the transmission to return the speed back to the stock out-of-box speed.

2-Speed Transmission

Blue Gears (Recommended)

When portal axles are used with the 2-speed transmission, both low and high range run at crawling speed. Install the blue gear set (existing part number 9776X) to increase speed and performance.
